Kody was working as an inside sales representative for an electrical company, and Kara worked in operations when they first met. “We were not each other’s typical ‘type,’ and that is still a running joke with us,” says Kara. After a while, these two formed an unmistakable bond, and their romance blossomed without a shadow of doubt.
On a sunny summer afternoon, family and friends surrounded the joyous couple as Todd Agers officiated the ceremony on the deck of Safari Texas Ranch Lodge. Boasting a bouquet of brilliant purples and greens, Kara emerged wearing a stunning Essence of Australia gown from Misora Bridal that left everyone utterly speechless. After the couple passed a sweet exchange of vows, guests dried their tears, and it was time to paint the town red in honor of the newlyweds. The reception soon followed at Safari Texas Ranch, where the bride’s impeccable attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
“We were very blessed to have such great family and friends with us on our special day. Each one of them helped make our night perfect and so much fun,” says Kara. After the wedding of their dreams, the pair jetted off to Sandals Grande Riviera Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica where they enjoyed beautiful coastlines and spotless beaches.
Kara’s Advice to Planning Brides:
Shop around for the best prices! When purchasing favors on line, spend time searching for coupons. “It just takes an extra five minutes and could save you a lot of money in the long run.”
