Dreams Do Come True
Regan and Brett started their lives together at a young age. They grew up as family friends but, along the way, their lives took different paths. The two happened to reconnect at church camp one year. Sparks began to fly immediately and they have remained by each other’s sides ever since.
One weekend, they were at Regan’s parents’ beach house for a relaxing time away. Little did she know that Brett secretly planned to ask her father for his blessing. After receiving permission, Brett could not wait a day longer to ask Regan to spend the rest of her life with him. She woke up the next morning to him putting a ring on her finger—Regan thought it was a dream!
The couple planned their big day at Olde Dobbin Station in Dobbin, Texas. They fell in love with the industrial aesthetics of the building and loved that it was in the a very rural area of Texas. Regan’s dream dress was a Theia gown purchased at a boutique in Tampa, Florida called Malindy Elene. She was able to customize her dress with an illusion neckline at Laura’s Couture and Alterations in Downtown Houston. Sandee’s Sweets in College Station made their delicious cakes.
Sunkissed and Made Up made all of the girls feel extra special and beautiful on the day of the wedding. After their “Yay!” send-off, the newlyweds took off to Seaside, Florida for their honeymoon, which is their favorite place on earth. They got to stay in their own little cottage called “Cow Bella.”

My biggest tip is, if at all possible, give yourself some time to sleep-in the day after your wedding. I can promise you that you will never be more tired. We got up early the next morning to drive to Seaside and it was so hard on such a little amount of sleep! Luckily, once we got there, it was a week of relaxation. Also, wear comfortable shoes! You think people will notice what shoes you have on but they won’t. You will be on your feet for a long time— especially when you’re taking pictures. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t worn flat sandals!
