“It was a magical day that we will remember for the rest of our lives,” says Tasha Johnson about her Black, White and Hot Pink nuptials at the Historic Rice Hotel. This young couple has known each other since they were each eight, and started dating in High School. They were together at homecoming from their sophomore to senior years where Justin was crowned homecoming King. After Prom, they decided to attend the University of Houston. When they each graduated, a special Valentine’s Day at Ruth’s Chris Steak House set the stage for their life together. The waitress delivered Tasha’s favorite desert with “Will you marry me?”written in caramel. When Tasha looked up, Justin was down on one knee. “I will remember every word for the rest of my life,” she says. Soon, the waitress popped a bottle of champagne and delivered fresh strawberries.
After a joyous celebration in downtown Houston, they honeymooned in Hawaii. “It was a very magical experience,” she says. The first class flight set the tone for fun. They attended Luau’s, toured and enjoyed: jet skis, body boards, parasailing and snorkeling. They currently reside in Katy. – LMV
-Enjoy the moment.
-Don’t stress about the little things, everything will work it self out. Remember it is about who you are marrying. (the love of your life)
-Hire a wedding coordinator because it is too over whelming to do on your own.
-Get your ceremony videotaped because you will not get to see any of it. (You are the last to enter and the first to leave)
