Blake, an advertising rep at Facebook, met Adam,a real estate attorney at Hay Compere, PLLC through mutual friends.
The Mother of the Bride expertly crafted the chuppah under which this fun couple said, “I do.” Dreamy, lush flowers and 200 of their favorite people surrounded them. Barton Creek Resort felt like a vacation for out of town guests, but was close to downtown Austin. “We loved that our guests spent most of the day before the wedding lounging at the pool and exploring the resort,” says Blake.
Blake looked amazing in her Enzoani gown from Blush Bridal Lounge in Austin. The dining experience was extremely important to this couple. The unique menu included spicy Jalapeno margaritas (Blake’s favorite!) The groom’s cake, by Objects of Confection, looked like the UT stadium.
After dinner, guests were ready to get moving! Thanks to the band Blind Date, the dance floor was packed the whole evening, right up until the breakfast taco and milk and cookie midnight farewell. They honey- mooned in Australia.
Have your wedding day reflect your own personalities. Our wedding planner Cortney from BZ Events really helped us add special touches to our wedding to make it feel even more special to us. We love margaritas and tacos, so we ended up serving three different kinds of margaritas during cocktail hour and breakfast tacos as everyone left. We also enjoyed having a special piece of family tradition in our wedding as we got married under a canopy that my mom quilted for us. These special additions made our wedding day feel extra fun and all of our friends commented about how much the wedding felt like us.
