Alyson, an International Buyer at Nabors Drilling met Joey, a Cost Analyst at Constellation Energy at Joey’s Halloween party. “He was dressed as ‘elf ’ from a Will Ferrell movie,” laughs Alyson.
They selected Ashelynn Manor to host their nuptials. “Both of us really wanted to pick a location that was comfortable for our guests and had somewhat of a Southern feel,” she says. The scenic drive to Ashelynn Manor sets the stage for an evening of Southern charm. “Getting married in chapel was also pretty important to us and the chapel at Ashelynn Manor was perfect,” says Alyson. It was exactly what they were looking for.
Alyson stunned in an Ivory Piccone silk gown from Alfred Angelo. It featured a sweetheart top, corset back, and crystals along the bust line and lower waistline. There was also lace along bust line and waistline, and a side flower on the lower waistline. They cut into a four tier vanilla cake with butter cream icing and a black ribbon outlineing every layer. When the festivities were over, they made their getaway in Monarch Limousines’ Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II. They honeymooned in St. Lucia at the Sandals Grande Resort.
“My tip is to take in every moment when you are planning your wedding, from the moment you get engaged until you leave for your Honeymoon. Sit down the morning of your Wedding day and enjoy every detail, this day flies by and you do not want to forget any piece of it!”
