Happily Ever After
Raymond met Mallory at her sister’s wedding where, coincidentally, her sister was marrying Raymond’s brother. One day, during a walk around Texas A&M, Raymond asked Mallory to marry him right under the Century Tree. According to A&M tradition: “If a marriage proposal takes place under the tree, the marriage will last forever.” On June 25th, 2016, Mallory and Raymond were married at the Chateau Cocomar in Houston, Texas. She wore a strapless, lace beaded gown by M2 Bridal. Mallory, being from England, received horseshoes as part of tradition on the special day. The four-tier cake with layers of summer roses was made by Bavarian Cakery. The reception ended with guests leading the couple out with sparklers. Mallory and Raymond spent their honeymoon in the Valentin Imperial Maya Resort in Cancun.

Make sure that you stay organized and on top of things so that you don’t get overwhelmed. Remember that it’s important to make decisions and plan together.
It’s not all about what you want and it’s not all about what he wants for the big day either. Weddings are a great time to practice compromise. It’s essential in a marriage to let go of your selfishness and think about what will make each other happy.
