Once Upon a Time
Kristine and Adam, Two sales reps, met each other at their company’s boat party and hit it off instantly. One weekend, in June 2015, the couple took a carriage ride in San Antonio where Adam asked Kristine to hold her hands out and close her eyes. He then placed a plastic Cinderella watch in her hand. She sat there, confused, until the end of the ride. Then he had her pull the pin out of the watch to stop the time. After asking her to close her eyes once again, she opened them to find him on one knee. Adam wanted her to stop the time so that she would remember the exact moment when he proposed.
Kristine wore a classy Vera Wang dress from David’s Bridal as she walked down the aisle of the Prince of Peace Church in Houston, Texas. The reception was held at The Gallery, also in Houston. Edible Designs by Jessie made the wedding cake with amaretto and raspberry cream cheese filling, along with the Groom’s cake, which was a German chocolate cake in the shape of an Aggie ring— a symbol of Texas A&M. The night ended with sparklers in hand as guests led them out to their Rolls Royce.
Kristine and Adam honeymooned in Hawaii.
I definitely recommend at least having a day-of coordinator. She was awesome with everything on the wedding day. I never had to think about the timeline. She would come and ask me when/if I wanted to move on to the next thing. All I had to do was enjoy and try to soak in all the excitement of the night! She also made sure Adam (my husband) and I always had a drink in our hand. I would also recommend either doing a little research before the bridal show or have a preferred vendor list from your venue to take to the bridal show. That way, you have a little idea of what you want to get accomplished and who you want to meet because it can be a little overwhelming with the amount of vendors that are present.
