Kasey and Tyler met at a Lil’ Wayne concert in Houston, Texas. After texting back and forth for a few weeks, they made a date and have been inseparable ever since. Because they were both zoo members, the Houston Zoo became their favorite spot to visit together. On May 21st, 2015, they decided to go to the zoo because a new gorilla exhibit was opening. They were both excited to check it out, so they made their way toward the primate section of the park. Tyler suggested they take the long route around the reflection pool. Kasey was surprised by a photographer who started snapping photos of them. Just then, she turned around and Tyler was down on one knee. Now they would be ‘prime mates’ in life. Kasey and Tyler were married on November 27th, 2015 at the Nouveau Antique Art Bar in Houston by Tyler’s Dad, who became ordained just for their ceremony. Kasey wore an elegant champagne tinted gown with silver and gold beaded accents. The cake was a two-tier red velvet Bundt cake with buttercream icing that was surrounded by 100 mini Bundt cakes in a variety of flavors for guests to sample their favorites. The guests enjoyed cocktails throughout the night while they watched fun movies such as Mean Girls and Clueless. The party continued at the penthouse suite at the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston.
Kasey and Tyler had an exotic honeymoon in Taiwan and Thailand where they visited ancient temples, kayaked through mangroves, and went on an elephant safari.

When choosing your vendors, give preference to those who have previously worked at your venue. This will minimize logistical issues on your big day. For vendors new to your venue, I would recommend doing a walk through with them prior to the wedding so they can familiarize themselves with the lighting, electrical outlets, sound system, etc.
