Building A Future
After meeting through friends in college, Hayley stuck to her gut and waited for John to call her and be the gentleman she knew he was. Proving that chivalry still exists, John made the bold move she had been waiting for, and five years later the two were engaged.
While out of town in grapevine for a company Christmas party, Hayley and John were headed home to Houston when he suggested they take a ride out to the land where they planned to build a house one day. once there, John took the plunge, and before she knew it he was on one knee, humbly asking Hayley to marry him.
With that, planning commenced and Hayley set out to find the outdoor venue she had always wanted. The Orchard at Caney Creek proved absolutely perfect, and on April 9, 2011, under a lush pecan tree, Hayley Nicole Miller and John Charles Fitzgerald promised their love in front of family and friends.
Dressed in a strapless gown by Paloma Blanca, and made picture ready with the help of The Perfect Face make-up artist, Misty Rockwell, Hayley glowed the entire evening. Her intricate attention to detail pulled this black and green themed event together in every way, from the four-tiered wedding cake to the ceremonial backdrop.
Following an elegant, tented reception, Hayley and John made a riveting sparkler exit into their vintage getaway car. The couple then spent a glorious honeymoon at the Rui Palace in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Hayley tells busy brides “it is possible to plan a wedding in five months! also, don’t sweat the small stuff, no one notices it anyway.”
