Time Stands Still
Some unique friendships last a lifetime.
For this couple, 3rd grade was the beginning
of a lasting friendship. Ashley, a marketing
territory manager for MGA in Property &
Casualty Insurance, and Matthew, a freight
broker, lost touch when they went off to
different colleges. When they returned to
their hometown to pursue careers, they
re-met through mutual friends.
Ashley walked down the aisle in the chapel at
Ashton Gardens in Corinth, TX. She wore a
gown designed by Essence of Australia, loving
the fit, detail and lace embellishments. Cakes
were important to Ashley and Matthew;
they decided to have five bridal cakes and an
Aggie ring groom’s cake. A Cake in a Treetop
designed them. Guests enjoyed the variety.
One of Ashley and Matthew’s favorite memories
is the wedding guest book quilt where
guests offered personal advice.
Don’t be afraid to take chances. Step out of
your comfort zone. It will pay off. Don’t be
afraid to express you and your fiancé’s tastes
or personalities through your wedding.
