Gatherings are great. A theme brings new dimensions and excitement to you and your good timing friends. It’s fun to think outside the box and fire up new trends. A couples’ bridal shower on Valentine’s day? Let’s “Party Hearty.”
A large display of donuts greets guests as they arrive. The delicious heart-shaped donuts are customized to match the “Party Hearty” color palette – pink and purple with dazzling touches of pearls and glitter. Donuts deserve coffee, and Grizzaffi Coffee mans the gourmet Espresso Bar, adding adorable heart designs on the cups.
Linens by Lisa covers the tables with elegant white satin to make a silk shiny glow. Fuschia pink runners recreate ABC’s “The Bachelor” inspired look. Roses in lit vases mimic the famous single rose ceremony. The H-E-B Blooms roses are organized in rows fading from hot pink to light pink.
At the dessert tables, customized cake pops, heart shaped sugar cookies and chocolate covered strawberries create a unique twist. Supreme Kakes enhances the party’s theme with a white one tier geode (crystal) strawberry cake with a silver and neon pink crystal opening on the side. Cookies & Cakes by Clau serves themed designed cookies with insider jokes. An additional dessert station serves cotton candy (pink of course) and popcorn under an enormous pink balloon arch.
The sexy cupid from J & D Entertainment is a big hit! People are gaga over the shirtless hunk as he walks through the crowd passing out desserts from his light up tray. Guests blush, cheeks turn pink and smiles light up the party.
The photo wall from LG Entertainment is a green boxwood hedge wall with Love! In pink neon lights (WHAT DID THE SIGN SAY?). Guest snap a photo and receive the signature pink vodka drink, Love Potion, with pink light up ice cubes.
Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and be edgy when designing an event and don’t sweat the small details– just think about the big picture! A shared spreadsheet is instrumental for organizing and staying on top of expenses and last minute purchases. This party is on budget.
